Come explore all that Milwaukee, America's charming brewing capital, has to offer in this day-long excursion! The $85 tour price includes: entry into the 3 guided tours in Milwaukee, transportation to and from Milwaukee, two souvenir pint glasses, and the gorgeous, super Instagrammable Christmas scenery of Milwaukee and the Pabst Mansion!
Our tour starts at the historic Pabst Mansion, a fantastic example of luxury and old world decadence. Former home to the famous Pabst Brewing family, the Pabst Mansion will transport you back in time to an era of elegance and charm. Next up is lunch at the Milwaukee Public Market, a feast for all five senses! Experience an array of charming spice shops, gift boutiques and incredible food options. Then we head underground... that's right, Milwaukee has caves! Take in the impressive "beer caves" during the Miller Brewing Company Tour, and see these subterranean wonders. We follow that up with a trip to Lakefront Brewery, where the tour is as informative as it is hilarious! There will be plenty of samples and a souvenir pint glass, so be sure to sign up for this can't miss excursion! Check our events calendar for upcoming excursions.
What To Expect:
There will be some walking and stair climbing, so please wear comfortable shoes.
The two breweries we tour are generous, and there is literally beer everywhere, so we strongly prefer that no children/minors attend the tour.
Lunch is the responsibility of each individual tour participant. During our lunch stop at the Milwaukee Public Market, there will be a selection of restaurants and cafes with varying prices.

Mexico is spectacular and accessible at the same time: the vibrant culture, the amazing artisans in their myriad workshops, the music, and yes the food. And Chicago Weekend Explorers is here for it all!
Oaxaca is flat out fantastic. A coastal state, producer of rich, fragrant chocolate and coffees, Oaxaca's most popular export is perhaps Mezcal. Besides the stunning beaches, Oaxaca is the place where even the most hardcore foodie will discover Mexican mind-blowing food and literally hundreds of small, family owned distilleries producing Mezcals and Cremas. In addition, the most popular Day of the Dead celebration is in Oaxaca, and for good reason!
The state of Jalisco is just cool. From Vincente Fernandez to the oh-so-delicious birria in Guadalajara, cool villages like Tonalá (birthplace of pozole) and Tlaquepaque, the Tapatios (a tapatio is a native of Jalisco) have contributed so much to world culture. All that remains true even before we mention tequila - which is both a drink and a town - or mariachi music.
Let us customize a tour for you in one of the two most iconic states of Mexico: Oaxaca or Jalisco. Oaxaca city (Oaxaca) and Guadalajara (Jalisco) will be our base, but we will roam far and wide to experience the real real. Our custom tours involve curated events: private mezcal and tequila tastings, cooking courses, amazing archaeology sites, behind the scenes tours, gallery walks and so much more! We don't do a "one size fits all tour", let us get to know what you like, your appetite for adventure, and we'll bring you the absolute best of Mexico!
