26 Sep Grand Canyon Bound!
We are looking at just over one week until Chicago Weekend Explorers heads southwest to Arizona. Arizona is special. It is not only home to what I think is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the United States, it is home to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. We’re headed for a 5 days of hiking and exploring and I almost can’t sleep thinking about it! South Kaibab Trail has to be the most scenic trail in the canyon, and we’ll be taking that trail, among many others. Sedona might low-key be the highlight of the trip for me though, as I love love love forest hikes and am really curious about the Sedona Vortex! The October 5th trip is sold out but check our
for more multi-day hiking trips over the winter. We’ll be getting out to warmer climates to see the best the US has to offer!
